Balamandir 2026

The Balamandir Summer Camp – 2026 was successfully conducted from 6th May 2026 to 13th May 2026 at Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishnar Temple with the participation of 39 students studying from III to V Standard from various schools. The camp aimed to provide a holistic learning experience by nurturing spiritual values, discipline, patriotism, cultural awareness, and personality development among children.
The camp commenced every day with prayer sessions at the temple, followed by devotional chanting programmes such as Vishnu Sahasranamam and Siva Puranam conducted by the Sirumiar Sangam. The atmosphere of devotion and discipline created a spiritually enriching environment for the participants.

The inaugural function was held on 6th May 2026 and was inaugurated by Swami Tadbhasananda. During the inaugural session, Dr. T. Thangamani explained the objectives of the camp and motivated the students to actively participate in all the activities.

Throughout the camp, several eminent resource persons delivered inspiring and value-based lectures.

The camp also included patriotic songs rendered by the Vidyalaya Bhagavadhars, which created enthusiasm and national spirit among the students. Traditional games and recreational activities were organized daily to encourage teamwork, cooperation, and physical fitness. These games were conducted by Dr. S. Sivasankar, Dr. M. Ashok Kumar, , and Sri A. Ganesan. Students actively participated in all the activities with great enthusiasm and joy.

Various competitions such as Quiz Competition, Drawing Competition, Handwriting Competition, Vishnu Sahasranamam Recitation, Siva Puranam Recitation, Motivational Quotes Presentation, and Fancy Dress Competition were also conducted during the camp. Students were encouraged to develop creativity, confidence, devotion, and communication skills through these programmes.

Daily instructions and motivational guidance were given by Dr. T. Thangamani regarding punctuality, discipline, Swami Vivekananda’s motivational quotes, active participation, competitions, and maintaining 100% attendance throughout the camp.

The Valedictory Function was held on 13th May 2026 in the august presence of Swami Garishthananda Maharaj. The welcome address was delivered by K. Kamaraj. During the programme, students presented Vishnu Sahasranamam, Siva Puranam, patriotic songs, and a colourful fancy dress programme. Parents shared their valuable feedback and appreciated the efforts taken to organize the camp successfully.
Dr. T. Thangamani shared his observations regarding the camp activities and appreciated the active participation and discipline maintained by the students throughout the camp. Participation certificates were distributed by the Vidyalaya Secretary Swamiji. Finally, P. Thiru Moorthy proposed the vote of thanks, and the programme concluded with the National Anthem.
