Story Telling Competition held on the occasion of Ramanavami 2026
Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education organised a Story Telling Competition for students of various schools of Vidyalaya on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami on 25th March 2026. A total of 134 students actively participated in the preliminary rounds, which were conducted in their respective institutions. The competition was based on select themes from Valmeeki Ramayanam and Kamba Ramayanam, and was conducted in Tamil at three levels: Primary, Upper Primary, and Secondary.
From the preliminary rounds, 22 students were shortlisted for the final round. The finalists displayed remarkable storytelling skills, expression, and understanding of the epic narratives. Out of them, 11 students were declared winners for their outstanding performances and awarded with cash prizes by Revered Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and was attended by a total of 543 vidyalaya school students.
