As a part of celeberations of National Youth Day, Sports Mela at state level inter-school was organised in Kabaddi, Football, Ball Badminton, Volleyball and Handball. The inaugural function was held on 7th January,2026.
Sri Narayanan Thirupathi, Independent director , REC Limited was the Chief Guest who declared the meet open and delivered inaugural address.
Around 600 students from 50 schools from different parts of Tamilnadu participated in the tournament.
The Valedictory function of the National Youth Day 1 st Sports Mela was held on 8 th January,2026 in the presenece of Revered Swami Garishthananda Maharaj. Rtn. Shafiq Ahmed, President of Rotary Club Coimbatore Spectrum was the Chief Guest who distributed trophies, certificates and cash Award to the Winners. Swami Tadbhasananda, Swami Harivratananda, Swami Trilokatmananda and Swami Virahananda also graced the occasion and distributed trophies , certificates and cash award to the winning teams
